THERAPY, EMDR

Rebeks Clark Mane, LMFT

Rebeks Clark Mane (he/they) is an AudDHD transmasculine therapist who specializes in neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, and life with chronic illness & disability.

He is passionate about helping clients identify and challenge negative messages we have internalized about ourselves, especially if we were unsupported or gaslit about in our neurodivergence, gender, sexuality or abilities while growing up.

Rebeks is an earth-sign with a robust sense of humor and a calm demeanor. They provide solid-ground, secure attachment, and a sense of containment to clients for the deeper healing work. And they honor the many ways we have figured out how to keep ourselves alive even as we choose to let go of some of these less effective coping mechanisms.

In addition to their MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, they have a Ph.D in Communication Studies from University of Washington with an emphasis in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies. Rebeks completed their pre-degree internship at Peace Over Violence, working directly with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and fulfilled their post-degree hours under the supervision of Dr. Wendy Ashley, a leader in developing and advocating for anti-racist, anti-oppressive therapy

In his spare time, Rebeks teaches courses at Cal State Northridge about race, class, sexuality, and gender in pop culture and public discourse and provides LGBTQIA+ affirmative trainings in the Los Angeles area. His hobbies include online gaming and learning mindfulness from the cats he co-parents with Aba. His special interest (SPIN) currently is “All things autistic and neurodivergent” with a rotating set of micro-interests that are stored on 80 open tabs on my browser, courtesy of his ADHD mind.
